Twisted Paleo
Cottage Bakery
Paleo bakers use almond, coconut, and other flours that are protein-packed and nutritious. These flours hold moisture well, making Paleo baked goods moister and softer than their gluten-free counterparts.
Gluten-free foods typically contain refined sugars, corn syrup, dairy, artificial colors/flavors, and preservatives. Paleo baked goods do not rely on refined oils or sugars. Instead, they contain healthy fats like avocado, coconut, and olive, and sweeteners like pure maple syrup, raw honey, and coconut sugar. Butter is the only dairy product allowed on Paleo. |

New for 2022 is the addition of baked goods aligned with the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) Diet, the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD), and GAPS, which stands for both Gut and Psychology Syndrome and Gut and Physiology Syndrome, depending on the condition the diet is being used to treat.
While all these diets have different restrictions, each item is also Paleo, gluten free, and delicious! |
