Twisted Paleo Baked Goods
Baked goods are sold by the batch (12 for muffins and 24 for cookies) and the price shown is the price per item. Paleo baked goods should be transferred to an air-tight container, and will keep well for a number of days and also freeze well. While refrigeration isn't required, they will stay fresher longer if refrigerated.
In my baked goods that call for chocolate chips, I list dark chocolate chips in the ingredients. Due to the small amount of dairy and sugar they contain, dark chocolate chips are considered Paleo friendly, as long as they contain no soy, gluten, corn syrup, vegetable oils or some other ingredient not allowed on Paleo. But I have two options if someone wants organic chocolate that is strict Paleo and contains no dairy or cane sugar and is also vegan.
One option is Santa Barbara Organic 70% Cacao Chips made from single origin Criollo Cacao from the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. These are sweetened with organic raw coconut sugar. Their third ingredient is cocoa butter which is extracted from cocoa beans by fermenting, drying, roasting, and then pressing them.
The other option for strict Paleo and Vegan chocolate chips is Hu Gems, which are also organic and 70% cacao. These are made from the same three ingredients as the Santa Barbara chips. The only difference is their size and shape, making one more suitable than the other for certain recipes.
Because of their cost, I need to charge $.25 more per item. These are available for use in any recipe with chocolate chips. The only item that has this built into the cost is the Paleo and Vegan Chocolate Chips Cookies. These cookies are also available as Paleo Friendly or as Vegan and Paleo Friendly.
These products are homemade and not subject to state inspection. As a certified cottage food producer, I must personally distribute my products directly to my customers and cannot use a delivery service or ship through the mail.

Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
What gives these cookies their unique flavor is the really dark ghee (Indian clarified butter) that I make for these. I tried making them with purchased ghee but they didn't have the same depth and rich caramel flavor. Ingredients: Organic Almond Flour, Organic Ghee (Dairy), Dark Chocolate Chips (Dairy), Organic Coconut Sugar, Organic Maple Sugar, Organic Arrowroot Flour, Organic Eggs, Organic Vanilla Extract, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Coconut, Eggs, Dairy |
$3.50 ( Batch: 2 Dozen)

Chocolate Drizzled Coconut Macaroons
A macaroon is a cookie that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Traditional macaroons are loaded with sugar and typically are made with sweetened condensed milk. I make my own version of this by simmering coconut milk and honey until it is the same consistency, making them much healthier. Ingredients: Unsweetened Finely Shredded Organic Coconut, Organic Coconut Milk, Unfiltered Raw Local Honey, Organic Egg Whites, Dark Chocolate Chips (Milk), Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Vanilla Extract, Sea Salt. Allergens: Coconut, Eggs, Milk |
$3.25 (Batch: 2 Dozen)

Double Chocolate Fudge Cookies
These cookies are rich, fudgy, and packed with chocolate! They are soft, gooey, and will satisfy even your most intense chocolate craving. Ingredients: Organic Almond Flour, Almond Butter, Organic Eggs, Dark Chocolate Chips (Milk), Organic Coconut Sugar, Organic Coconut Oil, Unfiltered Raw Local Honey, Organic Tapioca Flour, Organic Cacao Powder, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Paleo Friendly Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are made with dark chocolate chips that contain a small amount of sugar and milk, which is why I call these Paleo Friendly. I have tried these with both eggs and ones I make with chia seeds and I prefer the texture and flavor provided by the chia eggs. But if you prefer I can make these with eggs. Ingredients: Organic Coconut Sugar, Dark Chocolate Chips (Sugar, Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa, Milk), Organic Almond Flour, Almond Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Chia Seed, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Coconut, Milk Vegan and Paleo Friendly Chocolate Chip Cookies The only difference between these and the Paleo Friendly ones above is that these are made with dark chocolate chips that are vegan and made with unsweetened chocolate and cane sugar. So these are also considered Paleo Friendly. (I know, it's gets confusing.) Ingredients: Organic Coconut Sugar, Vegan and Paleo Friendly Dark Chocolate Chips (Unsweetened Chocolate, Cane Sugar), Organic Almond Flour, Almond Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Chia Seed, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Coconut Paleo and Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies These cookies are made with 70% cacao organic chocolate chips that are sweetened with organic raw coconut sugar and use cocoa butter extracted from cocoa beans . Ingredients: Organic Coconut Sugar, Organic Paleo and Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips (Cacao, Coconut Sugar, Cocoa Butter), Organic Almond Flour, Almond Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Chia Seed, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Paleo and Vegan Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles are a timeless classic, beloved for generations. I’ve eaten a lot of different types, and my favorite snickerdoodles are the soft puffy ones - not the crispy kind you dunk in milk or coffee. I made a non-Paleo version for years that I loved and wasn’t sure it could be replicated with Paleo ingredients, especially one without eggs. But these exceeded my expectations! Plus I like not feeling guilty if I eat more than one since they are so healthy. Ingredients: Organic Almond Flour, Almond Butter, Organic Maple Syrup, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Maple Sugar, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Flax Seed, Cinnamon, Organic Vanilla Extract, Cream of Tarter, Organic Arrowroot Flour, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Coconut |
$3.50 (Batch: 2 Dozen)

Muffins
Blueberry Muffins
Paleo blueberry muffins are a cozy way to start your morning, but I like eating these any time of day for a healthy snack. They’re moist, fluffy, and have a burst of fresh blueberries in every bite. Ingredients: Organic Almond Flour, Organic Maple Syrup, Organic Blueberries, Organic Eggs, Almond Milk, Organic Tapioca Flour, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Coconut, Eggs |
$6.25 (Batch: 1 Dozen)

Blueberry Muffins with Maple Flakes
These are identical to the above muffins but with the addition of organic maple flakes sprinkled to the tops before baking. Maple flakes are pure maple syrup dehydrated into crunchy flakes that look like tiny corn flakes. I coarsely chop them so they resemble turbinado sugar, but so much healthier and with much fewer calories. If you have a sweet tooth at all, I would recommend these. Ingredients: Organic Almond Flour, Organic Maple Syrup, Organic Blueberries, Organic Eggs, Almond Milk, Organic Tapioca Flour, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Maple Sugar Flakes, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Coconut, Eggs |
$6.50 (Batch: 1 Dozen)

Carrot Cake Muffins
I had a request from one of my taste testers for carrot cake muffins without nuts, raisins, and coconut so this is what I refer to as my no frills version. But I am working on another version that includes all the ingredients typically found in a carrot cake. Ingredients: Organic Carrots, Organic Eggs, Organic Almond Flour, Organic Applesauce, Organic Arrowroot Flour, Organic Coconut Oil, Maple Sugar, Organic Coconut Flour, Sea Salt, Cream of Tarter, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Ginger, Nutmeg, Sea Salt. Allergens: Eggs, Tree Nuts (Almonds), Coconut |
$6.50 (Batch: 1 Dozen)

Double Chocolate Orange Muffins
I love the taste of dark chocolate that has been infused with orange flavor. I don’t normally eat chocolate for breakfast but these muffins are a great excuse for doing so. Ingredients: Organic Almond Flour, Organic Eggs, Dark Chocolate Chips (Milk), Organic Maple Syrup, Organic Orange Juice and Zest, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Cacao Powder, Organic Vanilla Extract, Organic Almond Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Eggs, Coconut, Milk |
$6.50 (Batch: 1 Dozen)

Lemon Blueberry Muffins
The classic pairing of lemon and blueberries reminds me of summer, which perhaps is why I especially love eating these in the winter. The lemon provides a burst of tartness that is balanced with the sweetness of maple syrup and juicy blueberries. Ingredients: Organic Maple Syrup, Organic Almond Flour, Organic Blueberries, Organic Eggs, Almond Milk, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Tapioca Flour, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Lemon Juice and Zest, Organic Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Sea Salt. Allergens: Tree Nuts (Almonds), Eggs, Coconut |
